Tahi Honey

Tahi Honey

Just as nature intended, Tahi’s 100% pure honey is lovingly and ethically extracted from our beehives and delivered straight to you. We treat honey with the respect and care it deserves. That means no overheating, no pasteurising, no sugar or water, and definitely no artificial additives. Our full circle, biodiversity-positive honey is sourced from our remote location on the North Island of New Zealand, giving our products an unmatchable taste. Our eco-friendly honey is fully traceable to source and free from GMOs, GE, and chemicals. That way, with every spoonful, you know you are having 100% natural Tahi honey.

SPREAD THE GOODNESS

Made from the nectar of New Zealand’s native Manuka flowers, Tahi’s honey has a unique taste all of its own. Rich and golden, smooth and creamy, sweet yet mild – not to mention incredibly nutritious! Manuka honey is becoming increasingly revered for its array of benefits and medicinal qualities, as emerging research shows that it’s even more active than previously thought.

NATURE’S GIFT KEPT NATURAL

At Tahi, we believe that Manuka honey is an incredible gift from nature and that it should remain this way. Common commercial honey is extremely filtered to remove all pollen and microscopic particles, damaging its natural composition and kick-starting the crystallisation process, which in turn is offset with overheating. On the other hand, we at Tahi eliminate the need to aggressively filter our Manuka honey, presenting it to you as nature intended – 100% pure and natural.

MEET SUZAN

Suzan Craig’s passion for beekeeping runs in the family, dating back many generations when her great-uncles began one of New Zealand’s first honey-producing companies, circa 1888.

Inspired by her deep respect for nature and an understanding of its fragility, Suzan is often referred to as a ‘guardian’ by the people of Tahi, after she chose to care for this special place and bring it back to life. A founding member of The Long Run Global Ecosphere Retreats, Suzan has a deep-rooted connection to Tahi – and is not afraid to do the hard mahi (work) to bring the company’s sustainable philosophy to life.

Today, Tahi is a restored, biodiversity-positive nature sanctuary, a self-sustaining business where nature can benefit everyone. By embedding The Long Run’s 4Cs – conservation, culture, community and commerce – into every decision made, Suzan is guiding the way for positive-impact land management.

MEET GOSIA

Malgorzata Trofimiec – aka Gosia – is proud to represent Tahi in the MENA region. Living simple and pure has always been on her bucket list, which is why upon setting sights on Tahi, it was love at first sight. Its beautiful and uncontaminated environment reminded her of the summers spent at her grandparents’ farm and brought back the nostalgic and joyful memories of reconnecting with nature. This is also why she felt an instant connection with Suzan when they first met, with whom she shares common values and life principles.

Gosia’s affection for Tahi honey arises from her appreciation for the outputs of the dynamic and friendly bees. Much like the hard-working bees that convert flower nectar into rich honey, Gosia leverages her entrepreneurial expertise to transform viable ideas into thriving businesses. Valuing every jar of Tahi honey produced, Gosia is eager to soon have this pure and nutritious food in every household across the MENA region.
